Rebuilding Safety After Hurricane Ike’s Devastation
After Hurricane Ike tore through Kingwood in 2008, Bear Branch was littered with downed tree limbs and scattered debris. I remember the sharp crack of snapping wood and the heavy, humid air filled with dust and uncertainty. Residents faced exposed yards and damaged fences, risking property damage and safety. The community needed a fast, reliable solution to restore boundaries and calm nerves before further storms rolled in.
Our crew mobilized quickly, bringing in heavy-duty temporary fencing to secure yards and prevent trespassing. Using our OSHA-trained protocols, we erected sturdy barriers within 24 hours despite the soggy ground. Residents could finally breathe easy knowing their homes were protected. The swift response helped the neighborhood move forward confidently through the recovery phase.
They got our fence up fast after the storm—felt safer right away.
